Technical Overview & Specification

Proper commissioning ensures that freshly installed hardware connects securely to WATT.ma servers and operates reliably from day one.

1. Pointing Charger to WATT.ma OCPP Endpoint

Access the charger internal web configuration interface or configuration app and set the Central System URL to: wss://ocpp.watt.ma/v16/ws/

2. SIM Card & Cellular Network Verification

Ensure the 4G M2M SIM card is properly inserted and APN settings match local Moroccan telecom operators (Maroc Telecom, Orange, Inwi).

3. First-Plug Handshake & Operational Testing

Initiate a test charge session using a WATT RFID card or test app credentials to verify start/stop signals and meter value reports.

Compliant with Moroccan national grid (ONE), CNDP Law 09-08 data protection, and international OCPP standards.
